Planned Maintenance Programme 2026-2027

Kitchen replacements for 108 - 112 Pendeen Road and 2 - 32 Pendeen Place (even numbers) (54 properties) have been programmed for installation during 2026/27. We are carrying out a joint procurement exercise in partnership with Calvay Housing Association. Our kitchen replacement contract will be advertised on the Public Contracts Scotland website. We are pleased to carry out this upgrade!

Stock Condition Survey Update

A stock condition survey has been carried out by Brown and Wallace in 2024. The survey results confirmed that 100% of Gardeen's stock complies with the Scottish Housing Quality Standard and the Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing. Energy Performance Certificates

The Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH) aims to improve the energy efficiency of social housing in Scotland. The Association's contractor will be carrying out surveys at a few Gardeen homes during 2025 to collect data for Energy Performance Certificates. An Energy Performance Certificate gives information on how energy efficient a building is. This forms part of the Association's evidence for the EESSH. Scottish Government guidance on the Social Housing Net Zero Standard is awaited.

Energy Database 

We worked with an independent company, Alembic Research, to develop an energy database to help us plan for energy changes in the future. We update this at regular intervals.
